I also have a BMW with wireless CarPlay and have been having the same problem of my watch not ringing. I’ve also just upgraded phones to the 12 Max and completely reset my watch as a new watch and without even getting in the car and.... it STILL doesn’t work!! This has been extremely frustrating and doesn’t seem to be related to CarPlay or any one particular thing... this is pretty fundamental functionality and I’ve spent hours trying to solve it with no success. Apple PLEASE HELP!!!

Yep - just updated to iOS 14.4 and WatchOS 7.3 ...and STILL not fixed!!!!!! 😫😫 When I turn off CarPlay my Apple Watch works fine... but as soon as I re-connect, my calls no longer show on the watch. This has been going on since iOS14 and is massively disappointing considering the basic functionality of the watch is being disrupted by the basic function of CarPlay. Why won’t Apple do something?? Surely they are aware of this given that it has been effecting people all over the world for so long now??!!
