Thanks for trying to help. Please note that the exception is thrown also when typing in a FirebaseUI textField that I have no control over. I have not configured that textField at all. I am at a total loss here. I will however get back to you with the code you asked for. I will also check all the outlets just to be sure.

All outlets seem to be in order. I also checked for other malconfigured outlets. Everything seems correct. I have made this work 1 million times :-). How do I post code in a comment without it becoming all unreadable?
