Went to Android a couple of years ago and iOS making backwards changes like this was one of the big reasons why. I’ve now come back and I’m shocked to see this awful change is still in effect. As someone else said above, if I’ve put a photo in an album, it’s because I want to see it in that album, simple. Currently all hidden photos are moved to a different album and all bundled together and unsorted. Let us hide whole albums, not just the photos inside, and then find those albums in a hidden folder of hidden albums. I used my iPhone 6 for nearly 5 years and if I remember correctly, that’s how it worked before this very strange and backwards update. Very much hope this still gets fixed and I’m truly shocked it’s still an issue after 2-3 years.
