Same issue. At 1%. Won’t charge. Can’t take it off cord or it dies. Total BS. They are crippling productivity. If you look back at the beta(s) over the summer, people were complaining about the same issue. But they released it anyway!!?????? WTF?

Same issue. Posted it earlier as well. Totally ridiculous and now on a restart the laptop takes abnormally long time to boot up. The status bar just creeps along. I want Catalina back. This is ridiculous and if you look back at forums in the beta in July. SAME issues and yet still not fixed

update. two hours on phone with tech. Couldn’t solve it. Said they have no idea. Aware of the problem Has to be sent back to them to try and fix. And will wipe it clean and restore to Catalina. Can’t be done at apple store. Total BS. And no idea how long it will take. Great! No lap top for who knows how long. Gee. Guess if you work or are a student you’re pretty much screwed All because of Big Sur. Don’t touch it. It’s a mess. So if the fixes on this forum don’t work for you this is your fate.
