often when there is a mistake in code, xcode is quiting unexpectedly, stucks when downloading packages and etc...

If I zoom in the preview, size of simulator iphone is increasing but scroll not working. Xcode version is: 14.2, M1 Mac

How do I stop the xcode simulator from always trying to run the code when writing code? Canvas is running out my free api limit.
