Thank you very much for fast reply and sharing your experience! But I don't see any reason why you would need Xcode 12.4. And if you did (maybe for < 10.13 support), I don't see any reason why you would need Sonoma. The reason is the need to support older macOS Version and the newer ones. We have a bunch of build agents and want to keep the total amount of them as small as possible. And on the other hand use the current version of macOS on them when ever possible.

I agree with you, my observation and expirience so far correspond to your statement, but The Minimum requirements and supported SDKs table lists the minimum required information for using a version of Xcode. Exactly. So according to this list minimum requirement for using Xcode 12.4 is macOS Big Sur 11 (Apple silicon Mac) So I'm expecting XCode 12.4 to run on all macOS versions > Big Sur 11, incl. Sonoma. Or what is the meaning of "minimum requirements"?

@DTS Engineer Thank you for providing additional sources to check, really appreciate that! Absolutely agree, implementing UDP broadcast is a challenge and since the problem is occurring only on intel-based Macs and only with macOS 15.x we are also pretty sure that it is about local network privacy. It seems that something was changed here and we are trying to figure out how we can get it running. So going to check "TN3179 Understanding local network privacy" fist :-)
