I have the same problem on IOS and ipadOS but not on macOS and tvOS. It could be an server problem or Apple might want to reduce server load and prevent users who already installed iOS 26 from constantly checking for new updates.

For me the error is fixed. I did nothing, just waiting and now it’s working again.
