Ok, it's been a while (over a year) but tried it again and CONDSTORE/QRESYNC not enabling correctly again. I'm now seeing this ID response: * ID ("name" "iCloud Mail" "version" "2318B155") As noted previously, iCloud version 2204B190 worked correctly. But don't know if anyone actually reads this or cares?
