This issue usually occurs when you try to create new storyboard. As the launch screen will be the first screen to be shown, that has to be set as an initial controller. To do that, click on storyboard file in xcode and tap the top bar of the storyboard or View Controller in document outline. In the attributes inspector enable "Is Initial View Controller". You will see an arrow on the left side of the storyboard. [object Object]
