WORKING SOLUTION: THANKS to Teleccon here, the disabling the Automatic graphics switching in the Battery settings, while the external display was connected helped me. I was going crazy with this situation. You just need to restart it after the change with your monitor connected. It seems that after that you can change the battery setting back if needed.
