I also have similar problem on IPhone 14. I faced this issue after I updated my phone to IOS 18.1 around Dec24. At that time, my rear camera cannot Save photos to gallery. Also videos mode for back camera is freezing after few seconds. Front camera works fine. However, I could use back camera with other application like stage camera hd, camera on Line App. It was ok. I consulted with Apple support, staff remotely check my phone. He recommend me some basic solution like update iOS, reset all settings, restore. it didn’t work. I also ask if I want to fix how much it cost. He said around 90-100k yen since it’s out of warranty. This price I could buy new phone. I felt it’s unfair to me because I did nothing wrong, I just updated ios. At the time, I used stage cam hd app instead. Unfortunately, few days ago I updated iOS to 18.3.1. It’s getting worser, I could not use other app for back camera at all. now my back camera turned to be weird. Exactly, same as what “ OD_TheBigB” said. my back camera turned to black screen once I opened the camera app. Sometimes I switched front and back camera. I could take a picture with 0.5zoom but the results are abnormal. All rear camera functions don’t work at all. after I read this post, I tried “clips” app. It works
