Reply to Automatic launch apps on iPhone after system boot
Ok, so as of yet there is no baked in way to do this on iOS 18 as I understand it. How about a workaround? With iOS shortcuts in conjunction with iOS scripting there must be a useable solution. I am no expert with this but… Since there is a log file of the current amount of time the iOS system has been on since last restarted why not just embed a script that can access the current boot uptime log and when that time hits something like15 seconds the script will execute an app launch through shortcuts. You just need to find the location of this log and determine the best time to activate the app launch when all the needed resources are loaded and ready for the system to utilize and hopefully before the lock screen comes up so you t all seems seamless. Good luck, hope this is useful, JA Please let everyone know what solution you achieve positive results with.
