We need long-term stability to ensure sufficient profitability, which we don't have with Apple. The perpetual deprecations of essential Apple frameworks and languages , like Scenekit which is an excellent rendering engine, easy to master and customize, without needing to know the ins and outs of a basic technology like METAL, represent a huge cost, a waste of time and profitability for developers forced to constantly learn new stuff and rewrite entire sections of their applications.
