Yes, this looks like the same issue I've faced for all kinds of image pickers on macOS 26.0. And, yes, the issue is gone on macOS 26.1.

I was able to reproduce the issue on the sample project in question for macOS 26.0 when running as Mac - "Designed for iPad". On macOS 26.1 the issue is gone. BTW. If I run as (real) Mac the issue does not show up in neither version. But the app looks different of course.
