Comment on Z-Index for MarkerAnnotation
Thank you very much, that's correct but unfortunately not solving my issue because I'm adding and removing markers from the map as the user zooms or moves the map. I tried to always remove all markers and re-add them so that I actually can decide which markers are on top based on the ordering, but that's such an ugly UX with 200 markers getting removed and added again for every tiny map movement. Or am I missing something?

Sorry to reach out again, but is this planned for the future? Because using default Annotations will probably result in serious performance issues or is there a trick I can use myself to make these performant enough and try to rebuild the animations?
