Hey there, I am using 26.2, The lag occurs/becomes more perceivable when thousands of files are loaded. With hundreds of thousands of files it becomes very pronounced. Have you tested it with a file count of that range? I am wondering if that is just a Swift limitation and requires an AppKit approach which I am currently testing. "It does look great so far!! Nice work 🤓" Thank you, I have much much more ideas that could elevate it to a highly functional app😄
