GUYS! Kyyy found the fix! I was in the exact same boat as all of you. I was about to bring my yota in for a firmware update for $170. Went to google if the firmware update would actually fix my issue and found this thread / kyyy’s post. Followed her and the websites instructions and boom! Problem is gone! This issue started when I switched to iOS 18 as well. The website is https://www.toyota.com/firmware-updates
The only hick up I ran into is when I first downloaded the file onto the flash drive my yota did not see the update. I then used disk utility on my mac, found the drive, clicked “erase”, the erased each of the “formats” listed. Once completed I redownloaded the file onto the flash drive and then my yota was able to recognize the update!
