Thanks a lot for your feedback. I had already filed an enhancement request 2 years ago under FB10393561 but I didn't receive a response. Other apps can already use it on the App Store, so there must be a way that does not lead to a rejection. what can I do now?

Update: on the iOS 18.1 release candidate the issue is still reproducible on an iPhone 16 (Pro).

Hello @Engineer, we’re seeing many reports that this is still not fixed on the latest beta for iPhone 16 and 16 Pro. Any workarounds you can recommend? My radar is still without any response: FB15255061 This is urgent, because iOS 18.1 will be released next week and without a workaround many apps will get horrible user experience.

That’s insane! I guess that means I’ll have to add a big banner to my app: Push notifications delayed? Apple Intelligence is slowing down your whole phone! Turn off Apple Intelligence to restore expected performance of your device. It hurts, but I don’t see any alternative. PS: Strangely my radars still say: Recent similar reports: None I’ve filed it under FB15255061 and FB15544410

Hello @Engineer, thanks again for taking the time to look at this. From my experience this seems to be fixed in the latest iOS 18.1 beta (22B5069a), however my feedback report resolution still says "Open". Could you please verify if this has been fixed? This is my Radar: FB15255061

@Bxmakaveli51 For me it’s finally fixed on the latest beta of iOS 18.1 (22B5069a), but I am on an iPhone 15 Pro, so there might be a difference. Would be pretty bad though if we had to recommend our users turning off Apple intelligence 🤣

Hey @Maximillian-Dev thanks for your additional feedback! I have looked at my code again multiple times and I couldn't find any issues with it. I was actually able to reproduce this in a condensed, simple sample project that I have attached to my radar (in case anyone from Apple is reading this: FB15190710 ). I am also able to reproduce this on any other apps that are on the App Store that offer this kind of "block all / allow-list" functionality.
