I 100% agree with this, it is incredibly annoying to not be able to hide photos from the “recents” but still see them in the album. Apple, why not a middle ground. Keep the feature working as it does now. BUT make 2 changes; You should have the option to require pin, touchID, or faceID, to open the hidden album (don’t know why you didn’t do this already). Any albums that contain hidden photos automatically become protected by #1. This way you can still hide the photos from recents, and you can still view them in an album, and it’s all secure. seems kind of obvious to me. The current way sucks right now.
