Old post, but having the same issue now. Did anyone find a definitive cause and fix? For me, it works fine on localhost but fails when run via Heroku where it has been running without issue for 4+ years. No code or stack updates, it just stopped working.

Have been having the same issue for over a week now. Runs fine on localhost (Mac terminal) but gives the 111 error when run on the production app (on Heroku) that has been running without issue for 4+ years. Zero code or stack changes on the production app. Really frustrating.
