Yes, I didn't have much time to investigate if new Xcode 26 icons are duplicated or it's possibly just some backward compatibility thing for previous OS that can't handle new .icon format so I took it for granted. So looks like it's a bug too. You can file a feedback on current issue and tag mine so it gets more attention.
