True I do face the same issue and dont have a solution for it yet.. I have filed a feedback for that let's hope it is fixed in the near future.

Already done it tried setting the region to US but still the target simulator should be running 26.2 for it to work there is no other way.

Its redirecting to my own thread and also the pop-up does not specify if the playground will be run on an iPad simulator or an iOS simulator. Is there a way to make sure my iPad playground is run on iPad simulator instead of the iPhone simulator.

I tried running it on simulator having iOS26.2 installed instead of iOS 26 and it works as intended now but just not reliable. It sometimes fails too providing the same error. Thank you for the reply, Yes my mac is running macOS Tahoe and also have Apple intelligence enabled in settings. The simulator devices are all on iOS and iPadOS 26. My Xcode version is 26.2. I will file the feedback shortly. Thank you👾

Thank you for the reply, I will answer all the questions Xcode version:26.2 My iPad simulator is on iPadOS 26.0 I tried running the app on different simulators (iphone 17, ipad air M3, ipad pro M5) all on iOS 26 When I try testing the app on a real device (my iPhone 17) which is updated to iOS 26 it runs as expected and the output is provided. I will comment the error log in the next comment as I have reached this comment word limit.
