I’ve heard people saying this is normal whenever a new iOS is released, but I’ve had every single iPhone since the original came out in 07’, and I personally have only witnessed it once. Can’t remember which iOS it was, been many moons ago, but there was a bug in the original release, which drained the battery very quickly. Apple subsequently released the first patch, and it was cured. That was the ONLY time I’ve ever seen an issue like this, so I’d say it’s not normal, that there is a bug with the first version of 14, which will require a patch.
