Thanks mate. Yes I have followed that guidance and have no issue configuring the Background Modes within xcode. It fails when it says I have all of the entitlements except for the locations.background entitlement. I've done manual signing, automatinc signing, generated new profiles etc but it never assigns that entitlement and because the App ID has all platforms assigned in the developer portal I cannot manual add or check the Backgrounds Mode. Has got me baffled.
