Reply to Critical software update required, but an error was encountered... Stuck
The same issue was on macOS Monterey 12.2.1 MacBook Pro 2016 15in i7 this week after restarting the OS while I was working normally. I have tried: Upgrade to 12.3. Change Wifi/ use the phone's hotspot. Reset NVRAM/PRAM For now, It still does NOT work :(
