For the GroupStateObserver.isEligibleForGroupSession it still returns false even if you are in a FaceTime call. The documentation mentions you have have to modify it as a Subscriber but its kind of vague how to do it.

Hello, That documentation refers to the number of requested matches in a span of 60 seconds rather than finding out the current number of players online if I am not mistaken
