Same issue. I noticed all that space used to be taken by Photos and Videos. When i disconnected photos it didn’t free up space, rather all of that turned gray to system used data. This is ridiculous. reconnecting iPhoto, now it shows 2gb photos, and nearly everything else is taken by system. What gives??
