I am also facing the the issue related to rendering the html files from extension. Extension stops working(do nto receives any events anymore) after current active tab page URL is changed to point to one of the internal HTMl page.

Please refer the sample code below to reproduce the issue. There are multiple scenarios like; Close the browser and re-open it keep the browser idle for an hour. Extension stops working in these two cases; By looking at the code, can you guide us what are we doing wrong here ?
