hello everyone , I am the member of the club ! I called the apple support , they try to help me and they were trying to explain this is a software issue but never say that directly ! I have a MBP 2016 w Touch Bar since I upgrade to big sur battery service recommended .. I wait for the big sur update and it doesn't work ... all same again .. SMC reset is not functioning I guess .. I am doing it but the computer is not turning on without unplug it , it's kind a stock after SMC reset... waiting for apple to solve it soon ..

Hello everyone , apple release a recall for 2016 and 2017 mbp for the battery issue February 9th 2021. You can get the service all around the world and replace the battery for free of charge , it does not matter where did you purchase your mbp. I wish to hear that the recall will cover all mbp without any year selection !! may they can understand lather on it is important not to loose their reliable customers that loosing some money..
