My exact requirement is this https://developer.apple.com/forums/thread/690317 . One of the DAL plugin is this https://github.com/obsproject/obs-studio/tree/master/plugins/mac-virtualcam . This is using NSMachBootstrapServer but In future they will use NSXPCConnection . So I am also planning to use XPC for my DAL Plugin.

This DAL plugin are loaded as a virtual camera in Zoom application, skype and google meet etc. I want to control this virtaul camera from some application like changing color or size etc. https://developer.apple.com/forums/thread/690317
