Thanks for the information! This mostly works, however it appears to have lots of limitations. I noticed for example that with Low Power Mode this rarely works, and when the user has force-quit an app before it doesn't get launched either. This is especially problematic because messages that arrive in those cases without the app waking can never be retrieved i.e. delivered to the user.
