I would love to see the 15.7.1 with the fix, given the iOS 16 is not available on some still popular models.

This workaround didn't work for me. It didn't open the app.

Hey Kevin I added a new comment after I realized our code follows Apple's documentation.

I only have older iPads (iOS 17.x) but another team member owns the iPad Pro 12.9 inch (4th generation), iPad OS 18.4.1 and it worked fine for him. So we have no idea if it works fine on other iPads or not.

For me it's happening on iOS Simulator 26.1. I'm now worried if this can happen on a real devices too.
