You mean heic? I do get that, but I have no idea, if it is the original image or somehow transcoded. preferredAssetRepresentationMode makes no difference :(

Tried everything what I could think of. Different formats, format combinations. HDR-enablers (adding AVPlayerLayer to the window or to the CAMetalLayer. Did not work, but AVPlayer was bright). I can make photo darker or lighter (by fiddling with color spaces), but no HDR "whiter than white". :–(
