It's only showing the lightbulb on Tahoe, and I don't want this. How can I get the word "Document" as a menu title? No other menus, such as Edit or Help appear just as icons -- in any apps -- nor would I want them to. Bingo! Yes, it had showHelp on it, for some reason. I'm not sure that I would have done that. Anyway, that fixes it. Brilliant.

The principle use for PDF Services is executables that process and then save PDF files. I've been using shell scripts, python scripts and other executables in that folder for many years, but more recently, they've all been curtailed by sandboxing. I'm sure you probably don't want to allow things to be able to save files for security, but it's been a real obstacle to productivity.

Yes, but I would expect "This is an app downloaded from the internet, are you sure?", not "Ooh, this could be malware" for a signed app, surely? If apps have to be signed AND notarized to be allowed, then why make them two separate things? OK: Notarizing the app fixes it (though I still get the annoying "this was from the internet, are you sure" message).
