I am experiencing the same issue with my first notarization application. The status has been showing as “In Progress” for approximately 24 to 48 hours without any updates. Update: Everything was approved this morning after showing “In Progress” for three days. As they mentioned, it may have been queued, especially since this was my first notarization. It seems the best approach is simply to wait. Hopefully, the next notarization will be much faster.
