Is there an update to this? It's insanely distracting to be interrupted by looking through open file tabs for a file only to realize that Xcode closed it inexplicably. Is there already a feature request for this I can upvote? Do the devs need help to make this function like every other IDE/text editor in existence, I'd be happy to help so I can code without this infuriating "feature"...
