I restarted the VM, then I logged out/into iCloud again (using my burner account), then I logged into my Apple ID in Xcode (using my real developer account). Today, I got a 2FA request after entering the username/password (that didn't happen yesterday). Then I tried to build (it failed), so I quit and restarted Xcode, and it worked. So basically, trial and error :-)

Thanks for the backstory, Quinn. I've been following it for awhile now and do appreciate all the work you folks have put into it. Fingers crossed for the future. One question I have is if it would be possible create a macOS 14 VM to get the acceptable UDID format and then upgrade the VM to macOS 26? I'm not sure if those IDs carry forward with updates or not (they do on real hardware, but this ain't that.) -ch
