Thanks. I figured it was something like this but wanted to affirm there wasn't something I was missing. In my case I left the unit tests as unit tests and have those drive a dedicated app handle the persistent token work.

One additional piece of info. getFileProviderServicesForItem only seems to fail for URIs associated with resources that have a custom UTType. The apps in question make heavy use of custom UTIs. A smaller sample app can successfully share a file of type UTType.plaintext but not a custom UTType on iOS 18.5 beta 2. The same apps work fine for both on < 18.4. As above, supportedServiceSources is never hit in the extension when a failure occurs.

iOS 18.5 beta 3 also does not work. Please advise.
