Reply to Solved
It would be better if you had left the original question, and answered it so that others who may be stuck could learn, rather than editing and deleting the info. Imagine if every forum post ended up being "Solved" and left with no idea of what the issue was...

Reply to Stage manager device compatibility
This isn't really a question for the Developer Forums - this is where developers of apps communicate and ask for help on coding apps, not standard product support questions. However, I've gone to the trouble of looking at the iPadOS 16 page on Apple's website, and it says Stage Manager is compatible with: Available on iPad Air (5th generation), iPad Pro 12.9-inch (5th generation), and iPad Pro 11-inch (3rd generation)." So no, not your 9th-gen iPad.

Reply to Storing my app folders in a folder doesn't work?
Well, is there a git repo in the "AppsByMe" folder? Open that folder in Terminal and do ls -al to see if there's a .git folder. As a rule I never use the Documents folder for coding if I have iCloud syncing my Documents & Desktop because iCloud will occasionally delete local files from the folder and leave them in iCloud. When that happens they cannot be used until they are downloaded again. Your best bet is to move the AppsByMe folder to the root of your user folder, i.e. /Users/username/AppsByMe/ rather than /Users/username/Documents/AppsByMe/. Do that and be sure to have a backup running in case your local drive dies, or zip up your work when you're finished for the day and copy that to iCloud Drive so you have a backup somewhere.

Reply to Updates to iOS seem to always break app
Things change, code changes. You have to update your apps when the new SDKs are available. WWDC is in early-June each year and the latest version of iOS usually comes out three months later, so you have at least three months to handle the new way of doing things. For example, Apple changed (well, silently deprecated) the UIPickerViewController and my app crashed. The fix was relatively simple, or I could update to the newer picker, so I did that instead. Just keep on top of things.
