For me that didn't work but was resolved once I also removed the DeviceSupport folder from the Xcode package contents. The path: Applications/Xcode/Contents/Developer/Platforms/iPhoneOS.platform/DeviceSupport You should only remove this folder if the other fix was not enough for you though.
