@Friedchips after getting that pop-up you simply need to go to "System Preferences - Privacy and Security" and click on "allow".
Installation works for me but even 1.2.0 from yesterday crashes after a minute or two and I need to unplug and plugin the Ethernet cable. I hope it gets more stable in the next weeks :-/ I tried it on two different MacBook Pros (2016 and 2019 model).
