I've tried just about everything for every developer update buy Bluetooth carplay is not working. HOWEVER, I screwed around with Wi-Fi connection to my car and Carplay is working. I didn't test much but maps did come up as well as come choppy audio form Instagram. So, connected to my Hondas WiFi, the "Connect" button changes to CarPlay and something is working again!

Disabled car play, enabled car play, left phone at default bluetooth settings, changed to device type of car stereo. disabled carplay, enabled car play in bluetooth device and screentime settings. I continue to search google for a solution (in vain).
