Are we allowed to use storyboards on Xcode to build our apps for the Swift Student Challenge 2021? If not, may we use SwiftUI?

Hey all! I had installed macOS Big Sur on the day it was released, and ever since then, I am experiencing a lot of lag and choppy animations on my 2020 MBP 13"(512GB, 16GB RAM, i5 10th Gen). Not only this, but the battery life has significantly reduced. Please help me out. Thanks in advance!
