Reply to MacBook overloads by configd
Hi, Hooking in to this question, I am experiencing same issues, configd uses a lot of cpu, causing the "spinning wheel" to appear every 30sec or so, locking the Mac (M1) up and making it not responding to anything (mouse, keyboard, all is frozen). It is driving me absolutely mad :-( It seems more present when Apps like Safari, or Outlook are open. Using Chrome seems to be working fine as it looks now. I am 100% sure it's caused by configd. Steps tried without succes; Removed all VPN software (tailscale/wireguard/nordvpn etc) Closing all applications that do not actively use internet (Safari, outlook, Apple Mail etc) seems to bring everything back to normal. As soon as as these app start, it will cause the spinning wheel to appear in matter of minutes.. I am loosing it, it's unworkable. Does anyone have an idea where to start looking?
