Same here. MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015) on macOS Monterey 12.7.1 (21G920) iPhone 7 on iOS 15.8 Tried removing the app from the phone, unpairing and pairing again, did not help.

Thanks for suggestion, @kweonkang Note to all: If you have automatic backup to iCloud enabled, then pick backup earlier than 25 October (iOS 15.8 release date). Otherwise iPhone will re-upgrade to iOS 15.8 again.
