Same here on what is/was a clean Big Sur install. I've lost count now of how many times this has happened. I wake my 2018 Mac Mini from sleep and once again I'm logging in and it's reopened applications and I'm seeing another crash report. I was hoping 11.1 would fix this issue, but nope. I've been on Mac as my primary OS since 2007 and have never seen anything like this w/ any Mac release. I can't remember the last time my Win10 machine hard crashed.

Same atrocious audio distortion issue here in 'High Performance' mode. MacBook Pro M3 Pro connecting to M1 Mac Mini. Both running Sonoma 14.1.1.
