Me too facing same behavior. Background tasks are executed only if the device is connected to the internet. Is this expected behavior or an issue in Apple side. Do we have any documentation for this ?

@Ygee Can you let me know what changes you did in the model. For me lightweight migration happens automatically. Also what is the iOS version which is failing for you ?
