Comment on QuickLook and .heic
Thank you for your response!! The images for the app were initially taken by a nikon and then sent to the VisionPro where the native photos app converted them to stereoscopic (.heic). Those files (with three embedded images) are what i'm trying to use. I'll send an example image. When i run this, a quicklook window opens but does not render the image stereoscopically. Also, to test if the files are losing data i have sent them back to the avp and they still render stereoscopically

Comment on QuickLook and .heic
"See it in 3D" just means 'see it stereoscopically'. A jpg image was converted to .heic by Apple Vision Pro's photo's app. Then that .heic file was air-dropped to my Macbook and built into the app above. When i run it in either the simulator or in the avp as a simulator the quick look window pops open and shows the image, but not stereoscopically. My understanding is that QuickLook can display .heic images stereoscopically.
