Follow up: With any luck, one device that should be safe from battery issues is the upcoming iPhone 12. So guys toss your one year old iphone 11 etc. and buy the latest and greatest iphone 12. Thats what it is all about. Revenue.

Same here.I loved my 6s and now it's cr*p. Changed last year the battery when broke accidently the display. When started day with 100% battery I had in the evening still about 30%. Now I have to charge it mid-day. Unacceptable that quick battery drain. Thinking of switching to a android phone with a big nice battery which lasts two days. I can't stand the big ugly notch in the new iphones. I'm waiting until apple gets rid of the big notch. Then will buy an iphone again.
