Aha! That seems to be the culprit! Thanks for all the help

Aha! I see. This makes sense, I didnt realize there was a difference on project creation between the two! The project is relatively small so I think I will try remaking it in storyboard for the purposes of following my tutorial, and then on my own go back and see if I can figure it out in SwiftUI. Thanks for the help!
